The Trevor Project is a non-profit endeavor established to promote acceptance for gay and questioning teenagers and to aid in suicide prevention among that group.

The organization runs The Trevor Helpline (866/4-U-TREVOR), the only national toll-free, 24-hour confidential suicide prevention helpline for gay & questioning youth.

In addition, teens can visit the website thetrevorproject.org section “Dear Trevor,” which is a non-time sensitive, Question & Answer resource for young people with questions surrounding their sexual orientation and identity.
